[Japan Domestic Flights] Q: What happens if I cancel my entire reservation due to the cancellation of some flights within the same trip?

A: If some flights are canceled, it may be possible to waive the airline's stipulated cancellation fees and skyticket's cancellation processing fees for flights other than the canceled ones.

Procedure Flow

[1] Submit a Cancellation Request to skyticket

Please submit a cancellation request simultaneously for the canceled flights within 7 days from the scheduled boarding date via your My Page (member reservation) or Reservation Confirmation Page (guest reservation).
When submitting the cancellation request, please include the information about the canceled flights within the same trip in the remarks section.

[2] Cancellation Processing and Refund Amount Confirmation by skyticket

At the time of cancellation, skyticket will check the operation status of the canceled flights.
If cancellation is confirmed, we will check with the airline whether the cancellation fees for flights other than the canceled ones can be waived.

About two weeks after the cancellation request, you can check the refund amount in the refund section of My Page / Reservation Confirmation Page.

[3] Refund Procedure
Refunds will be processed according to your payment method. You will be notified by email once the refund is complete.

※skyticket handling fees, administrative fees, telephone reservation fees, optional arrangement fees, and change processing fees are not refundable.
Refund Method Refund will be made according to the payment method used at the time of booking (details).
  • When submitting a cancellation request, please include in the remarks section the canceled flight information (boarding date, flight number, route, and if the reservation is split into multiple bookings, the relevant application number), and state that the cancellation is due to the cancellation reason of the flights within the same trip.
  • The amount displayed on the cancellation request screen is the cancellation fee and refund amount under normal regulations.
    After skyticket confirms with the airline, the accurate cancellation fee and refund amount will be reflected on My Page / Reservation Confirmation Page.
    ※ For flights already marked as canceled on the cancellation request screen, the amount displayed reflects the waived airline cancellation fees and skyticket cancellation processing fees.
  • Depending on airline regulations, cancellation fee waivers may not be possible for flights other than the canceled ones.
    Please understand this in advance.

(※1) Note: When combining different airlines

If you have booked separate airlines for your round-trip flights, even if the cancellation is for the same reason as the canceled flight, the other flight (operated by another airline) may incur the usual cancellation fees.

【✕】Outbound: ANA (canceled) + Return: ADO (scheduled)
⇒ The canceled ANA flight may be exempted, but the other airline ADO is not exempted.


【〇】Outbound: ANA (canceled) + Return: ANA (scheduled)
⇒ Since the round-trip flights are operated by the same airline, cancellation fees for the scheduled return flight can also be waived.
