[Car Rental] About Using the My Number Driver’s License
Starting from late March 2025, the integration of the My Number Card and driver’s license (the My Number Driver’s License) will begin in Japan.
For domestic car rentals, some locations may allow procedures to be completed by presenting the My Number Driver’s License.
Please note that whether it can be used or not is determined by each rental car company. If you wish to use the My Number Driver’s License, please contact each rental car company directly.
