A: The ACR I-Card (Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card) is a microchip-based credit card-sized identification card issued to registered foreigners.
This card is mandatory for students who intend to obtain the Special Study Permit (SSP) and for visitors who intend to stay in the country for more than 60 days.

Similar to the SSP, the ACR I-Card application can be arranged and obtained through the school in most instances.
The cost to issue the card is approximately 3,500 pesos and the ACR I-Card is  valid for one year from the date of issuance.
