A: Students who wish to study in the Philippines are required to obtain a compulsory permit called the Special Study Permit (SSP).

The SSP cannot be applied for in advance from overseas.
Irrespective of the length of study abroad, the application for SSP is mandatory after arriving in the Philippines.
