A：Students who are staying for 90 days or shorter and have 18 or less hours of class per week must obtain the travel authorization, referred to as ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization).
For longer periods of stay and more hours of classes, a student visa (F-1 or M-1 visa) will be required.
