The airlines and the Canadian government have announced new entry requirements for international travelers to Canada.
ArriveCAN Online App
With effect from November 21, 2020, passengers on flights with a final destination in Canada will be required to submit information such as travel details, contact details, self-quarantine plans and diagnosis of symptoms of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection via ArriveCAN before embarking on flights.
It is mandatory for travelers to present their ArriveCAN receipts to the immigration officers at the time of entry into Canada to certify that they have submitted the relevant and required information.
Failure to submit the mandatory information in advance could result in penalties ranging from a verbal warning to a maximum fine of CA$1,000.
The ArriveCAN app can be downloaded from Google Play (Android version) or the App Store (iOS version).

Submission of COVID-19 Negative Certificate
The Federal Government of Canada announced on December 31st, 2020, that all travelers aged 5 years and older entering Canada by air (not including those traveling to a third country via Canada) will be required to present a COVID-19 negative certificate in English effective January 7th, 2021.
From the same date forth, passengers will be required to undergo a PCR test within 72 hours of departure and present documentation of a negative test result at the check-in counter prior to boarding flights operated by Air Canada. Passengers with a negative COVID-19 certificate who are allowed to enter Canada must also be quarantined for an additional 14 days.
